Frying Pan The maximum volumetric capacity for cooking is 3/4 of the total capacity of the piece. Position the handle of the utensil facing the center of the stove. On grill stoves, center the piece over the flame or heat source and align the cord with the grill. Hot utensils should be out of reach of children. Before first use, wash with a soft sponge, mild soap or liquid detergent. Once dry, grease the inner area with oil or fat and heat for a minute or two. Let cool and wash again. Your Starflon utensil is ready for use with or without fat, always over low or medium heat (never higher than 260 °C). To stir food, use only silicone, nylon or wooden utensils. This product does not require maintenance, only cleaning. Cleaning: Avoid immersing the hot utensil in cold water. Never use abrasive products in washing. If you let food burn, moisten the area and set aside until you can remove any stuck-on residue with a sponge and soap. For product disposal and packaging, follow the current recycling guidelines.
